NZ- Auckland- Waiheke

First Weekend:The hop-on-hop-off Auckland Explorer bus.
(with TinTin n Shrek for company.)

Bastion Point: mera-wala blue green! lawns, spring-green n the blue sea. Felt like running on the lawns. Wish I had a bicycle. I felt like i could cycle all day long.

KElly Tarlton's Underwater world- (nice but not exciting enough- sorta smallish in scale; maybe in hindsight after having seen the Singapore Underwater world). Clicked a crazy pic of Shrek with his head in a shark skull (op illusion while clicking). That's what shd be done with all bosses ;)

Auckland museum- Interesting interior! Not spent much time there. So can't comment on the artifacts. One interesting display was about musical volcanic rocks... essentially the xylophone/santoor concept.

Victoria market- DISAPPOINTING! beyond words!-

WAIHEKE ISLAND- the next weekend:
With all the TM paltan. A ferry ride to the island. lots of walking around. BEAUTIFUL BEACHES!!!!!! Nice sea-side cafe- ordered funny dish Avocadoes on toast (literally that was IT!) that came with some non-veg side dish which i didn't touch. The boys had a gud time pulling my leg over it. Didn't visit the vineyards.

Dethaly Hallows (Potter 7)- Flaws

1. When Voldy asks Cissy to check if Harry's alive, how did Voldy not guess Harry's alive since Voldy is so good at Legilimens & Harry's so bad at Occlumency?\

2. Why was Ginny kept in the background of the entire Book 7 when she was such a promising character, as powerful witch and Harry's girlfrind?

3. How can Harry become an involuntary Horcrux? Does anything become a horcrux?

4. What exactly happens at King's Cross station? WHat's the wailing creature?

1. The triwizard tourney was *SUCH* a redundant exercise! As Mad-eye Moody, Barty Jr. could have easily placed the Portkey *ANYWHERE* within Harry's reach. He met Harry so often to counsel in person. Why wait for the end of the TW tourney to make harry touch the portkey!
